Covington Creek Nursery is excited to be offering a diverse selection of classes to our customers. Registration can take place by calling 253-887-8838. Please register in advance as far as possible to allow for planning of the class. In order to offer these classes and to expand on our offerings we must have a minimum of (10) registrations. Minimal fees are charged for our classes and are due upon registration. If you have any suggestions for classes you would like to see offered, please let us know. We appreciate and value our customers' input!

Easter Egg Hunt—Saturday, April 7th, at 11AM.  Bring your kids for an Easter Egg Hunt through the Nursery. Ages 2—12. Wear a self-decorated Easter Bonnet. Owners of winning bonnets will receive a gift certificate. One Adult and one Child Will Win! FREE (Limited to the First (100) registered.)

Moss Basket—Sunday, April 15th at 1PM. Create your very own Hanging Moss Basket to enjoy while sitting on your deck. Make the Mess here and we’ll provide All Supplies and Materials. Covington Creek Nursery Grower, Peggy Roberts will teach this Class. $50.00 Fee

Marianne Binetti—Sunday, April 22^nd, 1PM, Join Marianne and learn the secret of growing Herbs, Berries and Vegetables in our damp, cool climate. She will be bringing her new book on vegetable gardening to share with you. 

Miniature Fairy Garden—Sunday, April 29^th, 1PM. Create your own Miniature Fairy Garden from supplies at the garden. Bring your own container or purchase one at the nursery. We will have miniature furniture, fairies, plants, containers and more……Collect your supplies at home or if you purchase from us we will give you 15% off everything used. What a great Mother’s Day Gift!

Create a Beautiful Container or Hanging Basket—Saturday, May 5^th at 1PM, Bring your Own Old Hanging Basket or purchase one from us and we will provide plants and supplies at 15% off for anything you select for your container. 

Vertical Gardening—Saturday, June 9^th, 1 PM. Increase your growing options with the addition of self-watering wall planters. We’ll provide the materials – get ready to explore a new approach to an ancient concept. Fee $50.00

Hypertufa Container—Saturday, June 23^rd, 1PM, Unique cement containers that can be used to plant miniature gardens, sedum containers and so much more. $15.00 per container.

Sedum Boot Container—Saturday, July 14^th, 1PM, Bring in an old boot or a unique shoe and we will plant it up. They are incredibly cute. A fun class to do with the kids. We will supply the soil and you buy the plants with a 15% discount.

Sedum Wreath—Saturday, July 21^st, 1PM. Create a Sedum Wreath which will become more gorgeous over time and low maintenance too. We will supply all materials for this fun Class Fee $35.00

Create a Fall/Winter Container—Saturday, September 8^th, 1PM. Plant an All-Season Container. Using Conifers, Evergreens and Perennials to create beauty you’ll enjoy all Winter Long. Bring your own Container or purchase one here.  All Plants will be 15% off for your container renovation!

Harvest Festival—Saturday & Sunday, October 6^th & 7th, 10AM-4PM. Scarecrow Making, Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Painting, Music, Food and Fun! More Information to Follow!

Holiday Open House—Saturday & Sunday, December 8^th & 9^th, 10AM to 4PM. Santa Photos, Holiday Wreath-Making, Food, Music and Bargains.
